Our story begins with Judith Dance Echenique a proud Peruvian mother whose passion for her culture led her across continents. When she moved to the United States, she brought with her not just memories of home, but the vibrant traditions of Peru: the textured fabrics, the brilliant colors, the hand‑woven baskets, the alpaca toys and retablos filled with history.
In 2018 she began selling these handmade treasures from her small stall—first to friends and neighbors, then at local markets—driven by one deep desire: to share a piece of Peru with her new community, and to show that art and ancestry can flourish far from home.
Today, her daughter, carries forward that dream through Dance Peruvian and Crafts, selecting each piece with care, working directly with artisans in Peru, and connecting the past and the present in every accessory, textile and decor item.
